I suppose I support the right of a person to have any many children as they wish, by whatever means available, so long as they have no recourse whatsoever to obtain support for those offspring through the confiscated earnings (taxes) of other people who had no say in the reproductive decision.
This is a HUGE pet-peeve of mine. I personally know a woman who is currently collecting "disability" from Social Security, and she has no physical disability whatsoever - she in fact DOES work - just enough to stay under the threshhold where she can still collect SSDI. In fact, she's actively trying to have another baby, in her 40s, for the sole reason of collecting more SSDI benefits for an additional dependent.
It makes my blood boil.
How so?
Did you want to abort the children, or is it that you want to provide octomom government care?
Social conservatives would never have provided the way for her to get her litter of 8, and if she can't feed them, they would have them adopted by people who can.
No babies killed, problem solved.
