A while back I posted a thread about my minpin, Bebe, who has a brain tumor. I was thinking that it was getting toward the end for her, but guess what! She is still with me, she sits on her pillows all day, except when I take her out to the soft grass. She does her business, then finds me and I put her on my lap for a while. She still eats a little and drinks water, gives a kiss to any hand that pets her, and seems happy.
She won’t be here forever, and she’s weaker each day it seems, but all things considered, she’s getting along. The other day I gave her a beef rib bone with a little bit of meat on it, and she chewed on that thing for 15 mins. She still digs in her pillow, but only for a few minutes.
So, I’m glad. This slow twilight is very gentle.
