Yes there is. Rove thoroughly make that point directly to Republicans in Delaware. They ignored him. I don’t begrudge him his emotional lashing over that on Tuesday night. To continue to harp on it for the rest of the week is beyond the pale as I define it.
Rove has a verifiable, consistent pattern that when there is a choice between two candidates he works for the benefit of the more liberal one. And Castle was beyond just more liberal. He voted for cap and trade on congress and PROMISE Harry Reid that he’d vote for it in the Senate. That makes him a socialist in my book. I’d rather see a democrat elected than a socialist Republican. Rove went to the mat,for him.
It could just as easibly be said that he leans towards incumbents instead of painting Rove as liberal.

Yes Castle is a socialist in my book as well. I would rather risk losing backing a true conservative then let Castle return to the Senate as a Republican. Rove is wrong as I have said repeatedly throughout this thread.
