No, all I’m saying is - I don’t agree he did it on purpose. No one would blow up their career like that for one candidate. I watched the interview live (I’m sure you did too), it was a genuine meltdown.
A couple more thoughts addressing several ideas above.
1. There are few friends in politics, only interests at the time.
2. For the general public (not us) memory is short. One move could change the opinion of Rove back to the positive in most eyes. His popularity has jumped from positive to negative and back more times in the past decade than Tiger Woods swapped mistresses.
