There has to be more to this story. Rove has supported Tea Party candidates in the past, and has even (I think)endorsed some against other GOP rivals. Didn’t he support Angle? There is a reason that Rove is out to get O’Donnell specifically. It may be that he has close friends on the Castle campaign. I’m not sure.

But, when even Mitt Romney and the NSRC has changed their tune ... this just doesn’t add up.

Guy called into Rush today and said that Rove was actually working for the Castle campaign as a consultant 'behind the scenes'.

Said that Rove went to the 9/12 group and O'Donnell awhile back and tried to cut a deal to get them to withdraw from the campaign - and they refused. Apparently somebody from 9/12 said this at O'Donnell's campaign HQ last night.

Rove was a clandestine water dog for Castle, working behind the scenes to make sure the Tea Party didn’t support O’Donnell.
Not only is this despicable on his part personally, but FNC should fire him for being a partisan operative and then lying about it.
