rove
Love it.
I don’t think he’ll be sitting in for Rush again anytime soon.
The phrase ended after Bush’s first term. Remember what power does to people. I think he started to believe his own press.
He is going to have a very difficult time getting out of this one.
How has he gone “bonkers”, exactly?
Or maybe people projected their own feelings onto him, instead of thinking of him as a "hired gun."
Rove has gotten so obsessed with tactics that he has lost his moral and political compass. His brag during the Bush years was that the new Bush coalition would have the GOP take over as the permanent majority by co-opting Democrat policies. Huh? Republicans (officially in name only under that scenario) would be the “majority” while instituting Democrat policy?
I think Karl Rove has failed to actually look up from his computer in the past 10 years and has not noticed the changed political landscape.
OK here’s a theory:
1. Rove secretly wants O’Donnel to win.
2. He knows Bush and the rest are baggage, so if he says “she’s great,” he only helps a little, if any, and connects her with the baggage.
3. In order to REALLY help her and distinguish and free O’Donnel from Bush and Republican baggage, Rove attacked her and the Senate RC decided first to slam her, then support her.
OK, I know Rove is not that smart.
But Rove helped O’Donnel FAR MORE by slamming her than by praising her.
Shave off the rest of his hair. He is a Collaborator.
Said that Rove went to the 9/12 group and O'Donnell awhile back and tried to cut a deal to get them to withdraw from the campaign - and they refused. Apparently somebody from 9/12 said this at O'Donnell's campaign HQ last night.
This is bigger than ROVE!
The RINOS are going stark Roving mad.
send him a friendly note like I did this am, telling him that I am returning his signed copy of Courage and Consequence with my name whited out..and suggesting that he might want to regift it to one of his Rino friends.
He violated Reagan’s 11th Commandment.
I remember what was said about Dick Morris back in the 1990’s: To say that a political consultant was caught with a prostitute is to repeat oneself.
Rove, Matalin, Carville, Morris, etc, are in it for the money, and if you can find a single political principle in the bunch, you are more observant than I. I am a big fan of free enterprise, but entrepreneurial politics is what is destroying our nation.
Plus he is from Austin. Most people from Austin are very weird!
And if that is true, then Rove simply is functioning true to form. As I stated, he is (or was), a "hired gun."
LOL!
Good thing Reagan formulated that after his run against Ford in 1976!
Not that Ford didn't deserve every word of it.
2004: Rove, you magnificient bastard.....
2010: Rove, you’re a pathetic a$$hole.
Absolutely. I just expected he had better vision on what's going on than he demonstrated. He came across as part of the establishment elites and didn't "get it" that the American people are fed up with the elites.
Well, if a guy called into Rush about it, it must be true.
