Now that we know what Rove was up to, what about Dick Armey? (vanity)

So Rove was cutting deals with the Tea Party to try to get O'Donnell out of this primary race. And we know that Armey endorsed Castle.
Were Armey and Rove a team?

Beck had Matt Kibble on his show some weeks ago in relation to the Tea Party Express guy that was raising such a stink. Matt Kibble talked a good game but now he has to address this thing with Dick Armey jumping on the Rove wagon.
I think Glenn needs to have Mr. Kibble back on his show to discuss this very issue because my antenna went up on Matt’s organization when Dick elbowed his way into the Freedom Works organization during the bus tour to the first 9/12 rallye.

We stay out of that race because were not convinced ODonnell can win, FreedomWorks president and CEO Matt Kibbe said at the Christian Science Monitor-sponsored event.
FreedomWorks chair Dick Armey shared the ambivalence toward ODonnell, whos sparked a kind of GOP breakdown with her fast-rising candidacy against party stalwart Mike Castle, who most view as a shoo-in for Vice President Bidens old Senate seat should he win the nomination. Presented with polling data showing likely Democratic nominee Chris Coons beating ODonnell in a general election, Armey was asked if its better for Republicans to lose with a tea party-backed candidate than to win with a mainstream Republican candidate.
Im going to give a quick answer, Armey said. No.

I very well may have it mixed up. I know Palin endorsed both Ayotte and O'Donnell--and Tea Party Express endorsed a different candidate in NH to go against Hodes. Which is OK, as long as it's out in the open. What makes me furious is how Rove used his Fox pulpit to talk about O'Donnell's "rectitude".
So, I'm wondering if Armey got tangled up in Rove's machinations.

Armey has changed a lot since he was elected. He’s been a part of the elitists gop ever since. Don’t trust him.

I’m not sure about Dick Armey, but I do know that the Republican establishment has become an army of dicks.
To: Mamzelle
Dick Armey has tried to 'bandwagon' the Tea Party movement from the 'top down' approach - setting a organization called: Freedomworks, and trying to pass it off as a 'tea party' induced enterprise. Which is a sick joke.
There is no doubting if Armey has the 'Estblishment' DNA ingrained into him. His 'FreedomWorks' refused to endorse Christine O'Donnell in Delaware.
As to the 'President' of FreedomWorks, Matt Kibbe, you can read his very 'grass roots' background right from their website.
- FreedomWorks is headquartered in Washington, DC,
- The organization is chaired by former U.S. House Majority Leader Dick Armey
- FreedomWorks President is Matt Kibbe:
- Before joining FreedomWorks, Mr. Kibbe's career spanned the worlds of academia, business, and lawmaking.
- He served as Chief of Staff and House Budget Committee Associate for U.S. Representative Dan Miller(R-FL);
- He was Director of Federal Budget Policy for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce;
- He was Senior Economist for the Republican National Committee during Lee Atwater's tenure as Chairman;
- He was Managing Editor of Market Process, an academic economics journal published by the Center for the Study of Market Processes at George Mason University.
Do I get a whifffffff of...'elitism' in here??

What's to disagree with there? Armey gave the correct answer to a hypothetical question.
Let's just make sure it stays hypothetical! (Now, if Sean Bielat can just oust Barney Fag
in November ...)

I don't either. He is OLD establishment, trying to worm his way and ride the tide back to power. None of our conservative Tea Party candidates need him.
OLD ESTABLISHMENT needs to just FADE AWAY, and if they won't go, we need to PUSH and PURGE.
This is a new day, that began with the REAL grassroots of America. There is no need to allow the OLD to cabbage on to the Tea Party coat tails, when most of them scoffed when we started.

Rove was cutting deals with the Tea Party But his knife is dull and the tip is broken off. There was no point to it.
