No he didn't. He bet on them sometimes to win, other times he didn't bet on them at all.

Well, the investigation, the bookies and the betting slips said otherwise.

The guy supported himself for a while selling fake memorablia for his own career. Pardon me if I don't accept the word of a career liar.
