Castle sucks, but a vote for O'Donnell is an implicit vote for a self-admitted marxist in the general. Christine O'Donnell is not Marco Rubio or Joe Miller. Who are these weak candidates winning in purple or blue states? We're sweating bullets with Angle in Nevada of all places against the biggest dirtbag in the Senate. If you thought conservative groups have been unfair to O'Donnell and she wins tuesday night, the DSCC is going to turn on her like the Eye of Mordor. I want them to have to worry about which seats to try and defend, while we eviscerate them in the voting booth.
Maybe you would rather go down with her than win with Castle - fine, but I say screw moral victories and secure as many R's in Senate seats as possible. Then, we kick their asses again in 2012, when even more of these socialist automatons are on the ballot.
I been having to take too many showers over the years.
We have given folks who think like you MAJORITIES after MAJORITIES...filled with the RINO’s you seem to like so much.
The “Rainbow Coalition” of Republicans, so to say.
And all that has gotten us is the MINORITY...and Obama.
We have tried it your way for decades. It ain’t working.
Time for a new plan. Take out the RINO’s.
The old game is over.
Got that right.
Vote Conservative candidates. Eliminate RINO DIM-lites.
DEFEAT MIKE CASTLE !
The thought of a Castle voter taking a shower conjures up a very bad mind image! Eeeeeeuuuuuu!
So, you want me to vote for Castle, if he wins. OK, then answer these questions:
How long would you put up with a spouse that was faithful 52% of the time?
Would you go into combat armed with a weapon that you could rely on 52% of the time?
How long would you keep a dog if it didnt bite you 52% of the time?
When you can answer these questions, we can talk about my vote. Until I get answers, there can be no negotiations.
Great question, especially considering that a Senate term lasts longer than many marriages do today.
Go to hell you communist!!!!
He wants to thank you for voting for senator coons, er, christine odonnell.
ahhh, that’s only true if YOU and other braindead, traitorous RINOS don’t work your backside off for the conservative winner, which is the problem with squishy moderates, they demand loyalty and then backstab a conservative EVERY time. So this time kiss off with the fossil and get in line with the conservative, period - this is the year!
ymmv
So you are going on record supporting a republican that voted to impeach Bush.
A shower would be inadequate decontamination, I think.
Do those marxists as RS, HA or Ace agree with you? Are these entrenched establishment people? No.
I dont have to prove my conservative bonafides to you. The difference between you and me is that you’re not serious about repealing Obamacare. You think were going to get to 60 without a couple of wets? For as much as Castle sucks 50% of the time, would you rather have him or a Coons in the Senate hen Harry Reid was ramming health care down our throats? Theyre all the same, right? You want Kirk to lose in Illinois for a seat where the most liberal senator in that congress sat because hes not Tom Coburn? Rome wasnt built in a day, and socialists dont wake up one day and become rigid Constitutionalists.
This is idiotic. ODonnell is running 26 points behind a reliably leftist democrat, and you want your moral victory at the expense of another full-blown socialist in the Senate. No, not from Pennsylvania or Florida from DELAWARE.
Senator Coons thanks you for your support.
Truth. If there is a time for purging it is now.
You addressesd none of my specific reasons for your ignorance of the issues here in Delaware, as related to you in my post 60.
Don;t waste my time with your insipid, pointless rants about hypotheticals.
The eyes of the country are on Delaware today, thanks to a feisty CONSERVATIVE lady named Christine O’Donnell.
She can win today, and a 26 point lead in a dubious poll means nothing on Sept. 14, 2010.
What matters is what happens on Nov. 2, 2010. And by then Christine will bury Coons, who has plenty of baggage and is on the wrong side of the electorate mood this year.
The only idiotic thing I see on this thread is you so far.
To answer your questions:
I would not put up with a spouse who was faithful 99% of the time - would you?
I would go into combat with a weapon that was more reliable than a weapon that never worked.
I would put down any dog that bit me 1% of the time.
Now, let’s talk about your vote.
How would Chris Coons have voted on all of those issues, including Obamacare? Or does that not matter because he has a D after his name?
We’ll see what happens. Since you’re effectively casting your vote for Chris Coons today, if O’Donnell is the primary winner and goes on to lose, which she will (probably spectacularly), I’m going to seek you out for comment when he’s sworn in on Nov 3. And, you’ll say some nonsense about going down on our principles and all that. I’ll PM you again thanking you if they manage to get any lame-duck legislation across while waiting for all the R’s to arrive in January. And, then I’ll check in with you again in 2013 when we have 58-59 senate seats and Senator Coons refuses to step across and vote for cloture on repealing Obamacare.
Real noble work you’re doing.
You don’t have to wait until November 3rd.
You can seek me out right now for my comment.
I’ll vote for Christine O’Donnelll anytime instead of Castle or Coons. I have voted for her twice before.
Since you fancy yourself the resident genius around here, tell me, will Castle vote against repealing Obamacare in the future when he absolutely won’t vote to repeal it NOW? What is going to change, sport?
Christine, when she wins the general, takes office on November 3rd, not in January, and she WILL vote against Cap and Trade when it comes in for a Senate vote in the lame duck session. Castle will vote for it.
And if Cap and Trade passes, I be asking you for comment on the days the government allows me the energy to fire up my computer.
By the way, the ball is still at post 60. Stop trying to move it around.
The only business that should be conducted during a lame-duck session of Congress is keeping the government running until the newly elected legislators are sworn in. I do not agree with those who say this period of time should be used for passing controversial legislation and would not play a role in helping to circumvent the will of American voters.
Mike Castle
Tell me, what’s the point in discussing hypotheticals about a repeal of Obamacare while Obama is still sitting in office with a veto pen, and he doesn’t know what kind of bill it will be replaced with? You know he’s a RINO in a state where Obamacare is about 50/50. What do you want him to say? - I’ll eliminate it at all costs, even if it’s replaced with something my constituents like even less?
You keep referencing post 60 as if there’s some useful information there. Most people in DE are climate change evangelicals. Did his answer surprise you?
Everything you railed about - that’s Chris Coons and about 50% more. But, Chris(tine) is your guy/girl, so knock yourself out. If we get card check because of Coons, that’s on you, pal.
Why don’t you save your RINO hunting for worthwhile states where it’s not going to get the rest of us killed? I live in VIRGINIA and am stuck with Jim Webb and Mark Warner, and you’re complaining about Mike Castle in DE. Come back to reality.
Like I said, I am hoping sober heads prevail either way, and I will trust the Republicans to vote for the right candidate up there. I am sure that the people up there know more about her and the entire case than I do, so I am trusting them to vote the right way. If she wins the primary, I am 100% for her, the time for hand wringing will be over.
Sorry Carter, You prefer a comfortable surrender, and O’Donnell supporters know that we are fighting for those generations who will have to live through the next 50 years. Mike Castle has become a refuge for the ranks who are trying to pretend that they are not running from the fight! Bob
