I’ve used Skype a few times to talk to my daughters. I just block anyone that I don’t know who tries to contact me ~ and I only know my daughters on there so that’s easy enough.

iirc there is a way that your acct does not show up on the directory. This will prevent people who don’t know you from contacting you.
