The above discusses an email that has been making the rounds according to snopes.
“I wonder what he would think if all his own employees came to work drugged out every day”
Well, considering he was busted for pot once, probably not much.
Yeah, lets boycott and put more people out of work. We’ll teach him.
Progressive, Geico, and Kaiser are all crap companies, which I would never do business with.
Like I’d ever patronize a company called “Progressive” in the first place. Too funny.
This is hardly breaking news. The word about Progressive has been out for a long time.
Well, DUH! Why do you think it’s called “Progressive?” I read about this eons ago, when I was reading an article about Ben & Jerry’s.
Who are some of the better conservative, or non-political insurance companies?
It’s ironic that a “progressive” such as Lewis would be churning out company ads that emphasize individual choice about the design and pricing of the policies offered. Exactly the opposite would occur were we to allow ObamaCare to slowly but surely move us in the direction of single payer health care.
I also am curious whether Mr. Lewis views HIS company’s profits as “obscene” or “undeserved.” If so, he has lots of good company in this administration, including the Oval Office.
The name alone should give you the willies.
Snopes on thin ice? Jeez, I flushed those trailer park liberal loons a long time go. I can do my own research.
Progressive and Ben&Jerry’s have been on my “no-buy” list for nigh two decades.
We did a price comparison and found that Erie was much more reasonable than Geico when it came to *good* levels of coverage, which is a must in the Philly area with all the uninsured and under-insured drivers.
When you tie all of your insurance (home, auto, etc..) into a reputable company like State Farm (which is what I have) you end up getting your auto insurance as cheap as these places like Progressive and Geico.
That said, I like Flo but hate the gecco. I was stationed in Hawaii for a while. Had my fill of gecco’s there....
I figure whoever writes their ads hates men. All the men in their ads are either gay, (the couple where one sold his watch to the other,) or else they’re wimpy nerds. Like the ad with the guy wearing the purse! And I saw one the other day where a grown man couldn’t buy Progressive Insurance because his mommy wouldn’t let him drive the car! I guess they don’t want males as customers.
Peter Lewis appears to be one of those aggressive, talented executives who clawed his way to the top. You gotta be in awe of someone so determined to make it in the business world. /s
The first clue to stay away from this insurance company is in their name - PROGRESSIVE (duh!!).
