I'll probably just avoid shopping at these places. I don't buy clothes to make myself feel good. I buy them for only three reasons:
- Protection from heat, cold, weed whackers, insect bites, etc.
- Modesty, because I don't want women attacking me for my gorgeous body . . . or getting arrested.
- Pockets. I may list it last, but it is really my main reason.

Women have been doing this with dress sizes for years now. Manufacturers have. And it makes it difficult to shop as you have to try on everything. I HATE shopping.

Not only has the whole women's clothing size been changing over time, but I have been told for years that at any given time a size 10 at Target/Walmart/etc would be a size 8 in Dillard's/Macy's/etc.
With stores betting a woman would pay extra money to get the lower number. Granted, women are under much more societal pressure to have that lower size.
