In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
feculent; adj.
foul with impurities : fecal 1. filthy, scummy, muddy, or foul 2. of the nature of or containing waste matter
Etymology: late 15c., from Fr. féculent , from L. faeculentus , from stem faec- (see feces). Related: Feculence
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
