There are lots of "lukewarm" Christians. (Rev. 3:16) These are Christians who go whichever way the wind blows. They don't want to make waves.
This is a characteristic of human nature and something we all must guard against (as Christians).
But seeing as how many Christians are lukewarm (vote democrat, embrace homosexuals [viz. Episcopalians]), would it follow that there are many muslims who similarly don't uphold Islam's murderous tenets?
I grew up with a couple of muslim families in my neighborhood. Both families, one of the parents was a medical doctor. They were all very nice people and we all got along great. I grew up in the ‘70s, before suicide-bombing became the norm. I don’t know if the successful, professional muslims we all know in daily life can remain unaffected by what they see their people doing on the news every night. Things have come to a boiling point, it seems.
Peace is not why Islam was founded. Islam was founded by one man, a bearded savage by the name of Hezrat Mohammed who craved two things - power through subjugation and submission while he was alive, and immortality after he was dead by continuing the violent cult he founded.
No. Next question.
All I can tell you is I know a Muslim guy who votes straight Republican and is crazy about football. Interpret that however you want.
No I don’t. I think the reason is because the muslim men are not lukewarm. They are all very active in going to prayer and
keeping the woman in not second but last place of their lives. This is in America as well as other countries in Europe.
The women are the ones who have held the church together for so long in America. The men quit going quite a long time ago.
Now, I am not speaking of one on one, but generally as a whole. I am speaking of men being the spiritual head of the family, not over it but leading it.
I think the muslim men lead by holding the power.
no
What keeps some good souls silenced? Fear of the thugs who slaughter and intimidate those who as speak against the violent.
Still .. at risk of their lives they must speak up or run away from the murderous sect.

It is up to us to let them know where they can run to.....if/when they decide to leave.
NO!
To paraphrase the great Mark Steyn: a moderate muslim is one who can’t be bothered to fly planes into buildings but believes that Shaira would be a good thing.
If a movement uses our "rights" to practice a religion which calls for the destruction of the very country and seminal documents that protects their "rights", they will destroy us and implement Islam and Shari'a Law.
This is the perverted view that Islam is the "Religion of Peace" - a peace which will occur, in their minds, only when Islam is the sole accepted religion, and only when Shari'a Law is used on our shores...then there will be peace, under their definition.
When is enough enough?
When so-called moderate Muslims go mute during the antics of radical Muslims, it's tough to tell the difference.
Meaning if they are not actively engaged in Jihad, 100% of them support the goals of those who are.
That makes them all extremists to me.
Do you think there are any such things as “moderate” or “peace loving” muslims?
**************
Yes. These are identified as heretics, and subject to persecution and murder by the sincere and observant Moslems.
The only good Muslim is a bad Muslim. There is no moderate Islam.
The problem is that we can generally live with good and bad Christians. We can’t live with devout Muslims. The Koran is the playbook for all the violence we see coming from the Islamic world. And how can you tell when a bad Muslim might decide to become a devout Muslim?
There is no such thing as moderate Islam.
The fact that an adjective has to be used to describe it is in itself indicative of its nature. I'm just pondering upon the question: How many times do the terms moderate or radical get used before any other religion?
Let's try it out on a few.
Islam is neither moderate nor peaceful; it is intrinsically radical.
That is completely impossible. For Islam to be a Christian apostasy, it would have to have been Christian, but apostatized. That is clearly not the case as Islam is based on pagan religions.
Stuff like this gets posted like this, because 9 years later we are still asking ourselves how your “close personal friends” and neighborhood soccer coaches can be sipping lemonade on our back porches with us one day...and then driving hijacked airplanes into skyscrapers the next. I think that once you get past the way it comes across initially, its a valid question.
This question makes me insane! Can Anyone imagine people, during WW2 , determined to split hairs like this? “ Oh, your everyday Nazi family is ok, it’s just the S.S. that’s bad.” They went home to kiss their babies and pet their dogs too- did that make them ‘kind and peaceful’??
Everyday, ‘non violent’ Nazis just SUPPORTED Hitler and Nazi-ism-right? They didn’t all, personally, load Jews unto boxcars and ovens, right? So that made them ‘good Nazis’??
What insanity is this, in our society now, that makes us NEED to avoid calling evil evil?
Good Muslims? NO.
If you believe in, worship, defend and consider HOLY a BOOK that OUTLINES and ORDERS the violent subjugation of ALL OTHER RELIGIONS. A ‘belief system’ that ok’s beheading, executing your own family members, and forbidding any criticism of it, or those beliefs, then YOU ARE as evil as the directives you call a ‘religion’.
You cannot hold evil holy and be ‘good’.
No vegetarian cannibals, no ‘good Nazis’, no ‘good Muslims’.
To even entertain the thought is mental contortion- and speaks more of FEAR than reason.
