The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19 (see trends).

I love when Obama talks as the adult taking the car keys away from the teenagers who drove the car into a ditch.......when actually, every round of stimulus drove up gas prices and stalled the car......which then Obama car-jacked........
talk about arrogance....and what Obama thinks about himself and teenagers....
I think of Obama as a bobble-head saying “Who’s your daddy?” over and over again, to infinity........

I just don’t get this “bouncing” poll. I mean, the people being polled must be the most fickle, unattentive dweebs in existence; most likely voting on their current mood. I think his numbers are worse than what we’re being told.

How can anybody Strongly Approve on the one.
The index is the difference between two variables. That makes it bounce around more. Looking at the charts the strong disapproval has been inching up by about 1% every three months since last December. The strong approval has been relatively steady at 25% since last year, with the exception of time just after the health care bill was passed.
The interesting thing to me is that all this talk about “it’s jobs” is BS. This year, as the Obama recovery has “progressed”, his poling data has stayed relatively constant compared to the HUGE changes that occurred last year when the health care bill was introduced and argued over. His strongly approve numbers went from 35% down to 25% and his strongly disapprove went from 29% to 39%.
Abyss Index at -4, ten day moving average at -1.6, he’s definitely going down into new territory.

Yes, it is frustrating. I would expect a more linear down
line, but there is statistical variations, and I also read that weekends tend to favor the lowlife Marxist.
It's called noise. His "real" number (what you would get if you polled every single person in the US) is estimated by polling a sample. The sample isn't big enough to produce steady numbers. Just consider the index value as uncertain by +/- 3 points.
The economy has been in the tank for an extended period. People know it stinks. They knew it then, they know it now, they knew it in between then and now. They knew all along Obama wasn’t doing anything other than increasing the debt and exerting more and more control over everything. IMO that’s why the job situation isn’t moving numbers the way a controversial/unpopular bill coming up for a vote moved numbers.
I agree. His “strongly disapprove” looks like it is moving into the high 40s which will be a number that is almost impossible to recover from. It’s been pointed out many times before that “strongly disapproves” never turn back the other way.
So BO’s pathetic performance with the press lackeys yesterday boosted his rating two points? That is unbelievable.

Obama grabs Koran falls to knees.
He has a -19 today on 9/11. There were 19 hijackers on that day. As for that filthy book the koran, I say burn baby burn. Other two books I would like to see burned as well are dreams from my father and audacity of hope. Burn those too. Burn Baby Burn!!!
