Awww gee I'm sorry to hear about the Dad. What a beautiful dog he was!
Odin is my huge cuddle bunny.....:) [sometimes, too much so...he still tries to climb in my lap for snuggies and nearly squashes me]"

LOL snuggies are the best.

Yeah, I was really sad to hear it but he'd had a ~very~ good life and passed his incredible genes to many good show kennels.

He lives on in his children and grandchildren.

“LOL snuggies are the best.”

Sure, unless your “snuggie” is taller and heavier than you.

One day, hubby will find me on the sofa, pressed flat like a flower in a book...;-D

That's the best and most important thing to know. Thanks. :)

THAT is one WONDERFUL story....that I believe. all the way. That’s why only *some* dogs are seizure-dogs...they know. Somehow, they just KNOW!!! I don’t think you can train a dog to detect a seizure...right? Wrong?

The puppy picture...now WHY did you have to post that? You realize what that does to me??? I have no more ROOM!!! I’m maxed out without being labeled a hoarder... ;) ;) ;)

I see that pic of the pup and I want another ...to start all over again.

And his Granddaddy? Oh MAN what a beautiful work of God he was...

Disclaimer: Any typos in here is due to the fact that I’m tired and need to be in bed, yaknow?

He just finished his night snack, is sleepy and is creeping his way across the sofa, inch by inch right now.

Destination: My lap.

[and I’m squashed over as far as I can go, already]....:))

If I recall rightly, the first seizure dog was discovered accidentally many years ago.

A person with seizures just wanted a dog [I think it was a shelter dog] and then started to notice the dog acting “concerned” before they had a seizure.

[I’m told some people can feel them coming...but I don’t know that as a fact]

The person mentioned this to somebody else and “Seizure Dogs” were created.

It’s really an amazing story that convinces me even *more* that God gave us dogs on purpose.

I will as soon as he gets his entire muzzle and tongue out of my right ear.

:))

[it feels yucky but it makes him so happy]

The troll is thriving on attention, good or bad and will say anything to get it. It's all about the troll.

I've noticed that.

There are some strange people hanging around here lately. I just bop 'em with an automatic "Ugly People" graphic now after reading about three or four words to determine if they're going to be contentious.

Some of this troll's Truther buddies pulled an attack on me the other evening on another thread. Those Truthers are nasty people and they attack in packs like hyenas.

They're all getting "Ugly People" auto-replies if they try to post to me now. :)

I think Brad’s Gramma was just helping her ignore the dog. :-)

You can see pictures of Ender on Elixyveth’s profile page, he’s quite the handsome boy!

Aw, thanks! The kid’s his best bud...Swiper waits beneath the highchair at mealtimes, waiting for delicious bits of hot dog and yogurt that sprinkle down from above.

As far as Ant-gravity goes, there was ONE TIME I saw him leap six feet in the air to snatch a moving squirrel off the trunk of a tree...I was completey dumbfounded, as Swiper is not what you’d call an athlete. I’ve never seen him duplicate that jump.

Nice profile revamp...I knew you’d show your true colors eventually! None can maintain a facade of decency in the face of the AWESOME MOB!

You are some brave lady!!

I am not brave. I just have a survival energy and mind that kicks in and takes me for a ride. Brave would be standing outside and seeing someone being attacked and risking your life to protect them. I have never been brave. Cops and soldiers are brave.

Learn and imbed self defense fighting skills, Rachel. High heels are not needed. My attacker was injured and hit the cement fast and had I not been in the mind I was in, I just would have run away. Unlike when I was a kid in Philadelphia, I carry so things are different now.

Although I changed my mind in hindsight, I thought my dad was really mean when he insisted I learn to fight him. He was not horsing around. Do learn hand to hand combat. It’s exercise with a purpose beyond vanity.
