A TERRITORY girl is lucky to be alive after she was mauled by a savage dog.
Seven-year-old Meg Croton and her brother Connor, 9, had been feeding their family's dog - an eight-year-old mastiff cross - in their Humpty Doo back yard when the girl was attacked by the vicious hound.
"I tripped on a rock and fell, and I think I kicked his leg," Meg recalled the attack. "And then it hurt very badly and he was on top of me and ripped on my head. "But my brother saved my life."

AAAAaaayup!
Bumping your good dog story. Wow, that’s a good dog! Amazing what they can hear and sense.
Thanks for the Ping, Allegra. :)
LOL! I believe you.
You think *that’s* amazing...Odin was only 9 months old when that was taken...he’s much bigger now.
LOL
Salamander
[and Dobezilla]
The troll is thriving on attention, good or bad and will say anything to get it. It's all about the troll.
Yikes! Well if he had big puppy feet, he's got room to grow. Besides, he's still a big love I don't care how big he gets.
ROFLOL!
He’s lucky she didn’t have a seizure and drown while swimming or her family would’ve owned that lake.
I can vouch for the ‘6th sense’.
My Wonder Dobe was the only being to witness my near fatal accident [except for the aunt who caused it and lied about it to my parents so as to avoid my father’s wrath] and Tito, who’d *never* howled once in his life, howled the entire 11 days I was in a coma.
My gramma, who lived right across the field from our house, said it was the eeriest, most forlorn thing she’d ever heard.
It was a low, sobbing moan, as if his heart were breaking...or as she believed, that he was calling to me, wherever I “was” when you’re in a coma.
She said she knew when I’d come out of it because on the 11th day, around 2 pm, he simply *stopped* and stood like a statue with his nose through the chainlink fence, intently watching the driveway.
Two hours later I was back home and the first thing I did was run to his kennel to let him out.
[and yes, he was still standing there, nose poked out but with his whole body wiggling like mad]
He knocked me flat and nearly licked and hugged me to death.
He never liked my aunt after that, either.
My folks believed her but he knew what had happened.
He -saw- it.
Some really grave insecurity issues, there.
Agree. Sad really.
I don't *think* he'll get any taller but he will get wider.
Hubby keeps saying "Don't you ever *look* at him? He's a MONSTER!" but all I see is the little tiny thing I held like a baby.
[love blind eyes]...:))
His grandaddy was a -really- big boy.
After reading post 727, sounds like they are all have a big time circle jerk....and what a pleasure they are having.LOL. If one of them doesn’t get offended and hit the abuse button....
Yup but it can’t be helped until it’s admitted.
FYI, the only person who hit the abuse button was your new hit-puppet.
The -mods- pulled her posts of their own volition.
That should tell you something, dude.
You lie and you know it. How shameful.
Whoa, look at his Dad! Yikes! He is huge!
It's easy to understand how you see him as a puppy. I have never seen your dog in person but you can see it in his eyes in the photos you've posted. He really is a love, no doubt about it.
They already played that card. Just got the thread moved to the smokey back room. Of course the liar is the one who pinged a mod, and lied to him. And of course saved the posts first and the posted that she did this. Which is how we know she is a liar. The father of lies has a strong hold it seems.
Ask the AdminMod yourself.
[but you won’t like the answer]
:)
Yes, “Nick” was quite large by American standards but he was a European import.
Sadly, he was put to sleep this past year after a brief illness.
He was a wonderful and awesome dog.
Odin is my huge cuddle bunny.....:)
[sometimes, too much so...he still tries to climb in my lap for snuggies and nearly squashes me]
No, actually I saved the posts for “legal purposes”....:)
I pinged the mod so you could ask them yourself.
Have fun wth that.
[FYI...an accusation is usually a subconscious confession]
