A TERRITORY girl is lucky to be alive after she was mauled by a savage dog.
Seven-year-old Meg Croton and her brother Connor, 9, had been feeding their family's dog - an eight-year-old mastiff cross - in their Humpty Doo back yard when the girl was attacked by the vicious hound.
"I tripped on a rock and fell, and I think I kicked his leg," Meg recalled the attack. "And then it hurt very badly and he was on top of me and ripped on my head. "But my brother saved my life."

What’s better than copying and pasting song lyrics?
Posting a video of the song that YOU recently shot from the “blood and guts” section of the front rows.
[sorry for the jigglies...folks get pretty crazy up there and I’m puny and prone to getting jostled]....:)

Hey, he’s got the “Benny Hinn” magical zapping touch!
LOL!
He treats his henchmen like dirt.
He impales one of them on a mike stand and it takes like 5 minutes for the guy to flail around and finally “die”.
I’m gonna send you the footage of the fight for the sweaty money he flung into the front row.
You’ll get a kick outta that...if you don’t mind watching my camera swinging wildy around on the floor...:))
[you’ll also get to hear my squeaky hick voice saying “TOUGH!”]
Very not bad.
If we have a hypoglycemic clique I’m in! :)
Yes, it is one of the Ugly People. It is best avoided.
It sucks out the light wherever it goes. It blocks out the sun.
We shall starve it.
Cool!
The second saddest thing in the world, is to be the thing you hate and fear most.
The saddest, of course, is to be unable to recognize that truth.
Look at this thread. Look hard. See who posted what and when. And then ask your friend Russ to look at THIS thread.
You know what that is called? "Getting a second opinion". Right now.... I'd have to say you are TRYING to fit in with the ugly people.
You came to this thread late. Joined in, after most of it was over. Fit's perfectly. Trying to be accepted.
This entire thread was 16 vs 1 for 48 hours non stop. And I wasn't in any group of people. I stood alone. I stand, even now.
But thank Russ for that amazing post. I haven't even seen that, so clearly and concisely presented, although I have experienced it 10,000 times.
You’re beginning to channel a little Queeg there, Rache ... just sayin’
You are truly the queen of defiance and awesomeness, Cath.
I scurry away from your blinding beacon of righteousness.
I deeply and sincerely apologize. I forgot to add, “profoundly disturbed, paranoid, and incoherent” to my description of the troll. It answers posts to whom it is not addressed as well, so you can also add “bless its heart.” And, from one of its earlier posts, it seems to be a man ala ClassyGreenEyedBlond, so “tranny.” Just sayin.’
Nope, it’s not a man.
“And then ask your friend Russ to look at THIS thread.”
I wonder what her readers would think if they saw this extravagant, vicious, un-Christian display of blatant hypocrisy.
Talk about false teachers.
[what would The Dude do?]
Abide.
Wow. You got some badass in you! lol. Would you mind tripping over a few liberal asses in congress? j/k not advocating shooting ‘em.
I wasn’t sure what that meant. So I googled it.
Queeg displays an oppressive command style and is prone to unprovoked angry outbursts. From the first, he begins to make mistakes that endanger his ship. After refusing the assistance of his predecessor in command, he grounds the Caine on a muddy shoal his first time underway. He panics in a fog and nearly collides with a battleship, and passes the blame to his helmsman, starting a series of incidents that eventually results in a scripted court-martial and mental breakdown of the helmsman.
Maybe I missed something: I am not in command. I have no angry outbursts. I do not believe I am making any mistakes endangering any ship or crew. And I welcome all assistance.
So... in that vein, could you enlighten me?
And, am I mistaken, or are you new on this dead thread and we’ve not spoken before?
Not without a trial... right?
= D
How DARE you work hard for a living in some dangerous foreign land and just now drag ass in here!
The -nerve- of you!
*harumph!*
/stomps away indignantly
"Actually, as with any discussion, what seems to occur is only a snapshot of events. The THREAD is the event.
I am convinced that puppies are for young children and that adult dogs should be given only to adults. That is my entire thesis. Point. Statement. Belief. And the evidence, at least insomuch as this story in concerned, corroborates my position exactly. It does not mean, some other data, would corroborate some other set of circumstances, but, my firmly held belief is that families with small children should never adopt such an animal as was done here in this case. Never. And this does not even go into the problems of, OK, we did it, now, do we let our 7 year old play with it? Unsupervised?
My posts are sound. Reasonable. The over reactions of a half dozen, very emotionally disturbed folks, now, that was unexpected and loony.
Now was that so hard? :D You could have just repeated this same post over and over and over......
