A TERRITORY girl is lucky to be alive after she was mauled by a savage dog.

Seven-year-old Meg Croton and her brother Connor, 9, had been feeding their family's dog - an eight-year-old mastiff cross - in their Humpty Doo back yard when the girl was attacked by the vicious hound.

"I tripped on a rock and fell, and I think I kicked his leg," Meg recalled the attack. "And then it hurt very badly and he was on top of me and ripped on my head. "But my brother saved my life."

Now, the attorney in me would suggest this is motive of guilt, but I did not go there, until now, as you attempt to paint this as something I began. I did not. I will finish it, I will not let it be.

Damn straight. But you and your sarcasm started it and Eak made it sexist and dirty and nasty and I have avoided engaging in his antics, while you defend him and say he is "just trying to engage me".

The Taliban is just trying to engage our troops too. I wish them the same luck and the same fate."

Well alrighty then RachelFaith.

I think anyone who googles Type O Negative and listens to their songs and reads the vile lyrics can judge for themselves.

Satan can quote the Bible.

It is his actions which reveal the truth.

As for Alice, his conversion is well known and genuine as are his more recent lyrics:

So your sad bait has failed.

PS: Did you know you have a fan club on FR? Yes, many have emailed me today and especially tonight, just when you showed up.

They told me all about you!

Isn’t that neat?

I am looking forward to a long and productive discourse with this little coven.

PPS:

They hated every part of me
Expect me to forget it
They tried so hard to bury me
But I survived it every time

Convicted of every crime
Silently doing time
But when I get outta here
I wanna make it clear

Vengeance is mine

Okay, you are wrong here.

I have always lived within a very short distance of every rehomed dog and in constant contact with the new owners.

I never even had to go and “address any issues”.

When I train a dog, it stays trained.

[yeah, I’m just that damned good...let’s call it a “gift”]

In fact, for years, it became very time consuming because other people were always bugging me to come and “fix” their dogs...or horses.

My only “emotion” at present, is bemused glee.

Does that count?

:)

[and if I’d actually set out to insult you, you’d know it]

Frankly, I’m just wiling away idle time on this thread.

He would no doubt love you, too, especially if you “skritched” his ears and cheeks.

:)

[I’d asked him to “Gimme 5” for the camera and being the exuberant, always eager to please young gent that he is, he gave me “8” instead...and said “Keep the change!”]....LOL

Well, that is discourse... so, let’s regroup and try again.

You didn’t really answer any of the questions. But, you did provide some interesting information which I will now use to reframe, perhaps, better questions.

You stated that you live close to and keep close contact with all the dogs you “work” to make better.

So, you’d likely have to say, that you are pretty special in that... most doggies out their, aren’t gonna end up with you... I mean, you are “there” wherever there IS... and there are more dogs than people, so, I’d be pretty safe in saying your very unique situation doesn’t cover the larger group of all dogs...

So..

Let’s try it from the hypothetical... or if that doesn’t suit you, we can just use this very article and call it hypothetical as well as factual. Covers it well.

An unknown adult doggy, given up by somebody for some reason, is A) More... B) Less... or C) No more or no less.... Likely to have risks greater than a new puppy?

Pick! A B or C.

Awwww!

I think it's rare to catch that much personality in an impromptu snapshot. He's such a beautiful dog, breaking out in love, devotion and personality. What a good boy he is. Skritch, skritch from long distance!

Looks like your only experience with dogs is that you are one sick puppy.

Oh, big deal.

I read the thread.

This is incredibly tame compared to other threads I’ve been on.

I’ve had dozens of posters pile on me as I stood alone and I didn’t whine about it.

[there’s 12 people in a jury who are going to “judge” you by association with your client *plus* the other side’s legal team who will shred/defame/discredit you, your client and indeed, your entire case like sharks in a feeding frenzy...what will you do then?]

~I’m~ simply astonished that you’ve been beating this mortified equine for _half a day_.

That’s just odd.

I’m much more interested in discerning your ulterior motive/agenda for devoting so much time to it.

It’s....fascinating.

"Pick! A B or C."

You can pick your friends.
You can pick you nose.
But you can't pick your friend's nose.

False logic.

We ping our friends because nobody likes to sit in a theater and watch a comedy all alone, so we share....:)
