Probably just there to steal copper wire.
I am sure that was their cover story..but there are just too many Chechen/Muslim terrorists coming from Russia to be so cavalier about it imho. They seemed prepared for something bigger than copper wire, but I could be wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time.
