Add Angelina Jolie to the growing list of voices opposing a plan by a Florida pastor to burn the Muslim holy book on September 11.
"I have hardly the words," she told reporters in Islamabad, Pakistan, to describe actions "that somebody would do that to somebody's religious book."
Jolie, who is in Pakistan to highlight the plight of flood victims in the country, was asked if she supported Pastor Terry Jones's planned Koran-burning. She answered, "Of course not. Of course not," and praised the response from some U.S. officials who condemned any such action.

Now the world opinion is shaped by Jolie. Our leaders pumping up the volume on this little town news-wipe story shows how far we have fallen in choosing what leaders we have to run this country and to run this war on terrorism.
I say if you want to burn any book, do it without the fanfare..I don't care what book you burn and if your friends even stand around and watch you burn whatever book. The Left set fire to the flag..just made people mad, but life went on.
Remember that movie Footloose (great song) with Kevin Bacon, the daughter of the preacher who had lost their son to drunk driving after a dance so they shut down all dances after that til Bacon came to town with his cool city ways. We all learned from it, I guess.
This too shall pass. I am so disgusted with all our political leaders on both sides on this, the mosque at ground Zero scenario. Nothing gets done on jobs, the economy--things that effect ALL citizens. The President still blames Bush and everyone who makes over $200k a year..let's build roads, bridges..mosques!!
Meanwhile our fighting men and women are in the background, sure they report the dead-worst since the beginning of the war etc, well it was said more would die if a time slot for withdrawal was given and reached..is this all still on page 1. ?.. where are the pictures of the flag draped coffins, where are the media covered sign carrying protesters..Sheehan is still protesting via her blog but the media never covers her anymore. Beck said no protest signs at the rally, its about Honor and Respect? Sheehan had some strong words to say about Obama too? It is no longer covered.

Condemning and critizing people for peaceful and legal protest is easy. How about taking the difficult road and challenge those who belong to the so called religion of peace. Challenge them to learn tolerance(aka putting up with that which you dislike or are offended by) and challenge them to be peaceful, forgiving and humble(aka without arrogance or pridefulness). There is nothing wrong with suggesting they practice humility (aka the state of being modest) and practice peace which supposedly their religion is about. Of course no one is going to do that because they are afraid that the so called “peaceful ones” will become violent. So instead they critize and condemn people who want to peacefully and legally protest to show their opposition to those who tell us they want to impose sharia law in the U.S. Hypocrisy or should I spell it Hypocrazy.

Go burn a book, if it will make you feel better..read up or down and you will see I have no problem with it as long as you dont make me burn my books..build a mosque at Ground Zero that makes me wild--the Governor has suggested other locations and the shady mosque developement group will not return his call.. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Pastor takes the High Road and forgoes burning the koran and challenges the imman to do the same and forgo building the mosque at ground zero as an act of tolerance and humility(aka modesty).

You are not going to change the minds of any Muslims that think so little of you, you are not respected or tolerated. They don't back down. Our President bends over backwards in support of the muslim community. He once erred when he said our country had 57 states. In Islam the OIC has 57 member states. Slip of the tongue?
