I'll never understand what drives people to do competitive eating? It looks painful to me. That guy Chestnut has veins popping out of his forehead while he's stuffing hot dogs down his throat. Just thinking about how they feel a few hours later is enough to keep me away from doing it.

I once asked a girl at work why she ran marathons. She said it was great when she pushed through the pain and hit that runner’s high it made it all worth while. I asked her how long it took her to hit that runner’s high and she said about 6 miles, about 45 minutes. I shook my head as I walked away. I hit that high after 30 seconds and 2 flights of stairs.
