Obama should have shown that he isn't ignoring the Kennedys by being asked to be shown the bridge on Chappaquiddick Island that Uncle Ted drove off of.

There should be a historical marker at the spot:

"At this location in 1969, Mary Jo Kopechne and Senator Edward Kennedy's Presidential aspirations died when Senator Kennedy drove his Oldsmobile off this bridge in an alcoholic stupor and failed to rescue Miss Kopechne from drowning."

Jesus died to save us from our sins. Mary Jo died and saved us from Ted Kennedy as president. Her death was tragic, but at least it had a silver lining.
