He stepped in it again with the speech in Wisconsin. According to the pundits here, (ABC news) his reviews are getting worse and worse. “Less than 50% of Americans approve of [Obama’s actions] which is the lowest approval rating of a Democratic President in 18 years.”

I hope he keeps it up. (Was it the Japanese who said, “May it take a long time for him to die?” Or something along those lines?)

He should have stuck to students at U of Wis. Madison. Over there, they are still trying to impeach Nixon (posthumously) ;-)

How many another Democratic presidents have there been in the last 18 years? One - and he was lower than Obama is now only 15 years ago. According to the charts available on this WSJ website, and considering the economy, Obama is actually doing no worse in approval than any of the presidents in the past 44 years.

Obama's rating is still surprisingly strong. Truman, Reagan, and Clinton all recovered from approval ratings quite a bit lower than Obama's current one to win re-election.
