I agree with 98% of what the page tells kids, but I gently disagree about playing tug-o-war. If the dog has been taught “let go” or “give” and obeys the command instantly no matter who gives the order, then there should not be any issue with playing tug.
My dogs all love the game, and are as safe as a stuffed rabbit, even with special needs people.
I understand the author’s need for caution, though, since there are always exceptions to every rule.

Yeah, Don....I agree about NO tug of war. There were things on that site that I disagreed with. Not much, but some.
If I wasn’t so tired....I’d go find them.
