Why wouldn’t a Democrat think President Clinton is the Greatest President in the World? Do you think Tim would pick Carter or Obama? Sheesh. Republicans often say that Reagan is the greatest President. I don’t see a problem with this. Didn’t we say that Obama should have been down to the gulf to help out? As far as a song goes, if it is a four day event and they have to cut it to three hours, a lot of songs were cut. This seems very conspiracy to me. But I just don’t get caught up with people’s opinions of different Presidents and such. Who really cares. We should be caring about election 2010 and not a country singer who does not agree with Reagan being the greatest President ever.

There comments are always amusing. For someone who doesn’t care, and should be caring about election 2010, you sure took time to read and write on this thread.

“Why wouldn’t a Democrat think President Clinton is the Greatest President....?”

Well, for starters, that’s a pretty asinine statement when you consider the company Clinton is privileged to share this distinction with: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson.......

I attended a Carrie Underwood concert and I can tell you firsthand that when she sang Jesus, Take the Wheel/How Great Thou Art medley the crowd sang along for the Jesus part, but got eerily quiet when the How Great Thou Art part was sung. HGTA is a very old “hymn” which is no longer in use in contemporary worship, which could be why ABC chose to ignore it too. If Christians themselves have placed it in the dust bin of history, why not ABC?
