We sent our two “nerds” to martial arts class. One of my daughters friends, who had a hand deformity, was being bullied by one of the school jocks.
He stopped after Meg nearly broke his arm and stuffed him in his locker.
The teacher that saw it, said nothing and walked away. I only found out about this a couple years later when the teacher told me.
Kind of funny. At my H.S. there were these two kids. One was a punk name DC and the other kid was CP. The Punk DC as such a $h!t that even the teachers didn’t like him. One time, DC picked on CP and CP beat the crap out of him. Of course CP got suspended for a few days. When he showed up in class with the unexcused absence slip, the teacher asked him what happened and CP mentioned that he got suspended for fighting DC. The teacher then asked if he beat the crap out of him and CP said yes and the teacher considered his absence excused and allowed him to make up his work.
This teacher was pretty cool and funny thing, he smoked in class and sometimes cussed up a storm. Back in the early ‘80’s, that was cool.
