After six years of her schedule revolving around her kids, now that they are finally all in school at the same time -- the mom of eight is ready to date, a source close to the “Kate Plus 8” star said.
"She is considering dating, as long as it doesn't take away from being with the children," said the insider.

I don’t know if their original website is still up or not, but her family came from undergoing fertility treatments (with ovarian stimulating hormone injections and intrauterine insemination, not IVF). I remember being very touched (BTDT infertility thing) with her recollection of their first ultrasound, their fear as the number of fetuses (7) was counted, and knowing right away as Christians they would NOT choose selective reduction (aborting a certain amount of babies in a multiple pregnancy to increase the odds of survival in the remaining)—I’ve got a lot of respect for both Kate and Jon for NOT taking the convenient way out and killing several of their babies at that time!
She is loaded with TV money and lives in a mansion. In this economy she is looking pretty good. Even has a better haircut. Just ask John Kerry how well this concept can work for your finances.
I seriously hope God sends the perfect helpmate to Kate. All those kids need both a mom AND a full time dad, IMO.

You do realize that Jon and Kate suffered from infertility, don’t you? It was a battle for them to get pregnant first with their twins, then with the sextuplets (which was NOT their goal, or anyone’s goal in fertility treatments).
Y’all shouldn’t confuse Kate with the Duggars, who have 19 kids and are planning on more, with NO fertility issues!
Me, too. She is not someone I would want to know. She is bitter and very obnoxious. I, too, feel so sorry for those kids who have to put up with her.

I’m sure it’s a touching story, but you think Kate has it rough? My grandma had 13 kids and I don’t think anyone would be interested in watching her walking behind a plow, washing clothes or cooking. Of course it might have been interesting seeing how they didn’t have electricity or running water until they moved off the farm and into town - talk about the lap of luxury. If it hadn’t been for a bunch of TeeVee executives who thought they could make a buck off of a freak-show, Kate would be just another public assistance money pit. Take away the pedicures and SUVs and plop her down on a hardscrabble farm in southwestern Nebraska during the dust bowl and we’ll see what kind of woman she really is.
That woman is about as appealing as a canker sore.

I saw the NY show the other night. Even without Jon to abuse, the show was almost unbearable to watch. She’s all about playing to the cameras, is still rude to her children on camera (can’t imagine what she must be like off camera) and it seemed obvious to me that she is using them to get herself face time...only thing different is she does it all in high heels...even with shorts.
but she is a creep as well....all her boob jobs and whatever other "work" she has done to make herself look more "Ho"llywood.....
so sorry for the darling children....mommy getting rich off of them...
