INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- American-born Taliban fighter John Walker Lindh and another Muslim inmate have asked a judge to order a federal prison to allow them and other Muslims in their highly restricted cell block to pray as a group, in accordance with their beliefs.

What’s next on the docket?
I remember this douchebags name but I can’t remember why? Is this the kid from California that went to Iraq to fight with the Muzzies?
Yes, the American Taliban.
John Walker Lindh ??
that female organ....
And killed Johnny Mike Spann.
You forefited all rights mister...NO.
Hey...no problemo!
they can do it on a conference call with tin cans! problem solved.
BUMP!
Or how about having them pray all together when they are in the shower!
that way no contraband will be passed.
Sorry Johnny, security outranks your right to hang with your terrorist homeboys for prayer sessions and chit-chat.
Afghanistan
The CIA should have wasted him on the spot.
There goes the tAliban Civil Liberties Union again. Fighting hard for those who wish to kill Americans and destroy America.
That’s what I thought too. If you are in prison, you forfeit certain rights. If you are in prison, how do you have the balls to file a lawsuit about practicing your religion? Does the ACLU have too much time on their hands? Have they had enough of suing to tear down crosses from tops of mountains? Now their cause celebre will be standing up for Muslim prisoners rights to pray?
No pork!
Prayer rugs and prayer shawls.
He should have been executed for treason.
I say let them out to the yard to pray at the same time the Aryans are out for for execise.
Why not? He has nothing better to do anyway.
Expect him to request a government-paid yearly trip to Mecca any time now. It's also one of his "religious needs."
traitors have rights? i think not. he’s lucky he’s still walking this earth. i believe he can thank God quietly for that — alone.
If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.
