Morning friends. Catching up on my sleep after a very busy Friday, quick 25 hour whirlwind trip to DC for 828 on Sat, and continued roof work yesterday.
The rally was awesome. HUGE in numbers & impact on most participants. An honor, joy & privilege to participate
Hot this week in NE Ohio & no rain til Fri/Sat. Hoses come out today.
My first tomato is red on plant! Yea. Part will go in salad & part in toasted cheese
continuing to read Ayn Rand & related works this summer. Now reading the last of her novels (which was her first actually) We the Living.
I am looking toward a trip to see my son weekend of Oct 10. AND depending if I can get mom in respite for a few weeks maybe a trip south to see Tricia, Mary, Jackie & Toby. Maybe we can all meet for lunch somewhere in the middle? I miss so much traveling .
Hope you all have a splendid week.
My problem when reading is staying on one book, I like switching around to others. My favorite reads are civil war and religious books, most of the times I read one book, pick up another in the middle of the read, back anc forth.
Being a consumer of Fox News in the mornings, am disappointed with them changing announcers and the reruns on the weekend. Gone down in my book.
Toby
Oh wow! I didn't know you went to Restore Honor!
Where, approximately, were you in the massive crowd?
I watched the entire event on CPAB and then again when CPAN replayed it. I posted the video of Amazing Grace where dear Sarah is caught on camera wiping a tear from her cheek.
Let us know when you plan to travel South. Toby is a mere 2 1/2 - 3 hours from me. A wonderful lunch or afternoon together would make me very happy!!!
