Objectivism rejects forcing others into subservience in the name of “moral obligations”

Altruism meets sublimation and denial. Or evil misrepresenting itself. One or the other.

OK...so I've made it to post #75.

A question for you assuming that your morality is based on your Faith as a Christian...do you believe it is appropriate for government to govern based on your morality? In other words, if the US tax code and entitlement structure is driven by your morality you would have no problem with that and believe that the government is just?

And if so, please explain how imposing your morality on those who do not ascribe to that same morality is appropriate?

If people don't find your morality on their own, and instead have it imposed upon them by government, what hope do they have of finding Salvation on their own?

My fellow Christians who reject Rand have a serious problem on their hands...as they seem to advocate a theocracy model of government.

I prefer to keep my faith in God personal...and my lack of faith in government personal as well. Government has one obligation - to follow our Constitution and not steal the fruit of my labors in the name of "altruism" or "social justice."
