downloading drivers now...i read her owners manual and nothing was mentioned...shoulda tried anyway

If you don’t have Blackberry Desktop Manager (RIM) on a CD, you should download it from Blackberry’s site. Be sure to get the version that is for your particular phone/model. Install that once downloaded, reboot, and then attach your phone.
