Did not make an ignorant remark. Well aware of Political History.
But starting with FDR and the very Liberal Socialist Agenda the Blacks migrated and were eventually seduced by Largess from the Public Treasury to vote for and support Democrats.
You are certainly right about the Southern Democrats, this is dating back to Post Civil War era when a Republican could not get elected Dog Catcher and I am from Arkansas where making headway has been and still is an uphill battle.
Then again you might have need pause for reflection.
I note you are from Kansas so should I assume your knowledge of Southern Politics is a tad on the light side????
By the way Racism has been and is alive and well in a lot of Northern states and Cities.
We in the South have not made the progress we should have in many areas since the Civil War, but in the last 20 years we have more elected black people than almost any other area of the country.
So in the immortal words of the Poet, Stuff It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ignorance can be easily cured, but in your case, perhaps not.

I have many ancestors who served in the War Between the States. Not a single one served in Blue.

My family were, to the man and woman, firm supporters of FDR. He was, after all, a Democrat. My father was the first to make the break in what was considered a minor family disgrace. Today, a Democrat cannot be found among our Ilk.

You said, not me. And in caps, no less.
