Good for them, the more the marrier. The Cards are in DC playing the Nationals this weekend. Albert Pujols just hit #400 & 401 in DC Thursday and tonight.

WOW! That takes a lot of guts. I’m switching my allegiance to the Cardinals. That’s really not a big sacrifice for me though. I normally root for the lowly Mariners. :(

Thanks Steelers6.
Organized by Fox News talk show host Glenn Beck and featuring former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the "Restoring Honor" rally is scheduled to take place at the base of the Lincoln Memorial on the 47th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech... If you'll recall, La Russa found himself in some hot water after he came out in support of Arizona's Immigration Laws. As for Pujols, he'll be there because the rally is "expected to include a faith-based message." ...Witness what happened to World Series hero Curt Schilling. He thought it would be a good idea to express his support for George W. Bush's 2004 reelection campaign on Good Morning America, momentarily forgetting that Bush's opponent was from Boston and that it was an overwhelmingly Democratic stronghold.

As much as I look forward to the day when baseball, as a “sport,” ceases to clutter the airwaves I thank them for this.

I am a die hard White Sox fan, and I have to say my second favorite team is the Cards. Tony LaRussa was one of the best coaches in White Sox history and Albert Pujols is probably one of the best players in the history of baseball and when all is said and done I believe he will shatter the home run record.
God Bless them both!!!

Tony Larussa is a really good guy. He and his family are heavily involved in animal rescue.

A word to the wise when you are already universally loved and respected, its best to keep your politics to yourself.Witness Curt Shilling moving his video game company from Massachusetts to Rhode Island...Payback's a biotch....
