PROVIDED YOU DON'T SELL ON EBAY!
From personal experience many moons ago and from what I've heard from MANY others, IF there is any dispute from any customer (or for ANY reason Ebay--who just happen to "own" Pay Pal--decides to arbitrarily "freeze" your account, you can ALMOST kiss your money goodbye and after a year of battling Ebay/Paypal, I gave up and lost $1,300.
I'm not conversant as to how that would work otherwise, but do some due diligence before jumping into this service.
SEE: http://www.aboutpaypal.org/paypal_sucks and read the "Horror Stories" listed on the sidebar.
PS: I have never had any problem buying anything using Paypal and use it (when absolutely necessary) when making purchases on Ebay

My experience is just that. Making small purchases on Ebay. I’ve never sold anything.
