WOW! Soon,he’ll be able to pay the national debt and have enough left over for brunch at Caesars!
Shakespeare was right.
Shumway, Schramm and Van........that should be a warning right there.
Methinks he should go for $38,000,000,000,000,000.01
“Anderson said the property has been valued $36 billion and asked for 12.5 percent of that value, $4.5 billion. He also asked for additional compensatory damages of four times that amount and punitive damages of 200 times the amount, which added up to $918 billion. In his initial complaint, Anderson said silence on the matter by the defendants would constitute a binding contract.”
Here’s a lawyer who didn’t get paid for $64,000, according to the plain facts in the case. So by what logic does he think he’s owed 12.5% of the property’s value, much less $918B or $38Q? This is a classic example of using the law as a battering ram: sue for an amount a bazillion times as large as the amount you actually think you are owed and hope your opponent settles for a sum that is merely hundreds of times what they actually owe you.
That he’d sue for an amount that exceeds the net worth of the entire world merely illustrates the same level of economic illiteracy held by the lawyer who now holds the position of POTUS.
