All I can say, Seven, is I'm glad that time has not come yet. Hallelujah!! When I came out of Mass and turned on my car radio, the press conference was in progress. It took a few minutes to figure out he was giving us the GOOD NEWS. Very good news and it makes perfect sense. He loves the game too much to leave it. What else would he do??!!

Yup! We've had the Extra Innings package on our cable system for a few years now, and I go out of my way to watch a "Vin Scully game" (Or at least part of them, as west coast games tend to end VERY late here on the east coast, LOL) Just hearing Vin call a game (all by himself... no "color" guys needed) is well worth the price of the package, IMO.
Vin Scully is a national treasure. I pray that he continues to enjoy MANY more years of good health.
Thank you, La Enchiladita, for pinging me to the good news! :o)
