As I said a while back on another thread, they don’t view this as the Presidency. To them it’s nothing more than a 4 or 8 year party on the public dime. Wonder how this would have played out with a Republican in the WH?
Every president since Washington has had to play to his base.
My hunch tells me that they calculate that as long as they have 97% of the black vote sewn up that they’re close to being unbeatable.
My guess is that this plays well to the base - and to hell with what the rest of the country thinks.
