Trace Adkins is not an idiot and I applaud him for going to Afganistan every year around the holidays. He’s one of the good guys....

If he believes that, he is. Sorry. He may be a great singer & he may do a lot for the troops, but that does not make him politically astute. America was the greatest when it followed this line of thinking:

IOW, those that were our allies, KNEW it. Those that were our enemies, KNEW it. Our enemies may have hated us, but they respected us. We took a stand and didn’t waver.Now? No one knows where we stand. Because we change with the polls.
