I’m torn on this one. I hate AI’s sob stories too. Who cares? I just want to know: can they sing? But our local paper has profiled this young woman before, and it seems that even after she was rescued and placed with another family, she experienced more abuse there. Sad. So if she really can sing, I hope that she can remain calm and collected and do well in the competition.

I totally agree with you on the part of if she can sing. Truly I hope she can. It just can be irritating to hear the story 100 times...I know this is the first I am hearing of it but by the type American Idol has their finale, I will have heard it millions of times....lol. AI is still a favorite of my family because you can actually sit down and watch it together without fear of liberalism or any crap like. Yes the Idol gives back is sketchy, but we watch it anyway....lol.
