Wonder if this is the beginning of a new series of pitbull on pitbull violence. The trend is our friend!

One of my very good friends is parent to the sweetest adult female pit bull (Lucy) that I have ever met, and she has the nicest disposition of any dog I know of. She always greets me with licks and I think she considers my moustache better than Mom’s was...
It’s unfortunate that so many of the breed give the rest such a horrible reputation and bad name. I believe it’s likely either the dog was taught to be vicious, or the owners likely failed to teach him not to be vicious. I also believe that you can reinforce many traits in dogs by breeding, and that many people adopt pit bulls only to find out that when they mature, the dog has a strong aggressive streak that frequently results in tragedy.

Any breed of dog can be a problem. I, as a 10 year old kid, was attacked by the next door neighbor's German Shepherd. I still bear the scars 44 years later. I happen to think German Shepherds are an intelligent and protective dog to own. At the moment I am in possession of my third pit bull. Every one of them have been wonderful, loving and loyal companions. They are so eager to please is the reason I will defend them against the naysayers such as yourself. Pit bull dogs are not for everyone. As a responsible owner of a responsible dog, please put the responsibility where it should be... the BAD owners. That's all I ask.
BTW...I could(If I wanted to) train a Jack Russell to tear you a new one. Food for thought.
