I have seven wristwatches (two are reliable wind-up, no battery), but no cell phone. I always have the correct time on me.

There's an old saying: "A man with one wristwatch knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never sure."

A woman with seven watches has one to go with any occasion. ;)

I stopped wearing a watch over 10 years ago and yet always have a sense of what time it is and have never been late to anything. Besides, pretty much every electronic device in the home, car and workplace has a clock built into it.

I also consider a wristwatch to be in the category of "feminine apparel" (i.e. necklace, bracelet, earrings). Now I wouldn't call a man wearing a wristwatch a sissy, necessarily, but there is nothing particularly manly about a wristwatch.
