We have a new law here in CA, AB962, which come Feb ‘11, will prohibit us from mail or internet orders of handgun ammo, unless it’s shipped to a FFL. All handgun ammo sales will have to be face to face.
So order several thousand rounds NOW!! Then move.
Best price I’ve found for .45 long colt is still at Georgia Arms. $52.00 for 100 rounds. Cowboy loads. $63.00 delivered to my home in Ky. I’ve gone through several hundred over the past few months.

I reload .45-70 for 14 cents a round. It is the same basic round as .458 win.
