“I carry a Sig P220 which is a large frame .45 ACP.”
I’ve tried a few Sigs, but they seem too light for me. All my weapons so far are heavy metal.
The 1911 Combat Commander with lightweight frame is a good tradeoff. Heavy where it counts, quick recovery from recoil, not harsh at all. I hide one of those with more comfort than hiding a J-frame revolver; summer or winter. Dark tee under, if you don't want the gunmetal against your skin, or dark tee over, and that's enough. I usually wear a tee, then a light buttondown shirt.
I'm short and skinny. Bald too, but that doesn't affect hiding something around my waistline - unless people are transfixed on my chromedome.
once you start carrying one all day, everyday, you may start to appreciate the lighter weight.
as for holsters, i like desantis.
You want a fun pistol....that's cheap and even cheaper to shoot?
CZ-52....
I have one...and have turned some local friends onto them also. They love um.....
