That and ooops!
Yeah, as he calls in the entire staff!
Or, "Oops!".
Actually, Dr. Dean Edell, a radio sawbones, once related a story from his early days. He said that doctors are taught to not say, "oops" when they make a mistake because it alarms the patient. He was taught to say, "that's it", instead when he makes a mistake.
LOL... no kidding. I've had that happen. Many years ago I breathed in some smoke from a campfire... and somehow there was some poison oak mixed in the firewood. I had a bad systemic reaction that resulted, among other things, in my face swelling so much that I couldn't even feel where my nose or eyes were. Couldn't see at all.
When I finally got to the emergency room the doctor came in and gasped loudly and said basically that same thing. He asked if he could take some pictures-- because he'd never seen anything like it before. I said sure. I had to laugh at that. I suppose my picture is now out there somewhere in a medical textbook. :-)
