The In-Laws (with Falk and Arkin) One of the funniest and most underated movies ever. Both Falk and Arkin are perfect together. That movie has a lot of lines in it that have garnered their way into my families lexicon:
"Serpentine! Serpentine!"
"What, you never took an early lunch?"
"Flames? My car has flames!"
"The CIA? Great benefits, the key is staying alive."
And my favorite:
"Don't mention the scar"
"a Z????"

If you get a chance, watch ‘The Making of Jaws’ on the Bio channel. Absolutely fascinating.
Everything that could go wrong on the Martha's Vineyard setting, did go wrong- the fake shark malfunctioned, a boat with all the actors and equipment and film sank..
Spielberg was threatened every day by the studio with being fired for going over budget.
There was no script. It was written daily by the writers AND the actors.
Yet it all came together to become a phenomenon that will never be replicated lighting in a bottle.
