Obama and his cohorts are sure pushing this country to the brink of irreparable divisiveness. Between his mandates on some states at the expense of others and the singling out of some states while ignoring others, he’s going to find a state or two who are willing to use their National Guards for their intended purposes.

As Congressman Paul Ryan put it to Greta, this bill is nothing more than Income Redistribution...taking money from the fiscally responsible states and giving it to the fiscally IRRESPONSIBLE states.

Yep, insanity is about right.

It’s a no-brainer. Texas is HEAVILY conservative. The Dems don’t want to help THOSE KIND OF TEACHERS.. After all, How much of that money would the Dems be getting back in campaign constributions? ALMOST NONE. The Dems orchestrated a massive payOUT to “liberal heavy Union” states so as to ensure a massive payBACK by way of campaign contributions later. This is CRIMINAL. There are no words to describe how devious, corrupt and Unconstitutional this is. Taxpayer’s money redistributed in a roundabout way TO the Unions, then BACK to the Dems through campaign contributions later. SICK.

Texas should respond by simply privatizing the public school system... and tell Washington to keep all it’s federal spending on public indoctrination camps.

Fire all the unionized teachers union employees and see how well they do in the private sector.

I know, goes without saying, but is singling out a State like this Constitutional? Rhetorical Question

Sugar Land Republican Pete Olson was particularly incensed that Democrats intruded on what he deemed a state issue.

"If Lloyd Doggett wants to be the governor, he should resign here and go back to Texas and run for governor," Olson said. "This is Rick Perry's responsibility to educate Texas' kids."

Pete Olson is a bozo. Who thinks it would be a good idea for Rick Perry to educate Texas' kids?

If you want Satans money you have to accept his terms.

The state of Texas doesn't HAVE to do anything, it just wont get it's federal bride if it doesn't obey, this is the same threat they used to force national speed limit restrictions on the states.

Has the Kenyan ever done anything he said he was going to do concerning posting and reviewing legislation on the web? Of course, the Journ0lists give him a pass on it just as they don’t whine that he doesn’t do interviews.

“taking money from the fiscally responsible states and giving it to the fiscally IRRESPONSIBLE states.”

Also you could say taking money from fiscally responsible people and giving it to fiscally IRRESPONSIBLE people.

Worse, these are bribes paid to you with your own money (minus a cut, of course)...this WILL stop, sooner or later.

Perry is better than White.

In the unlikely and undesirable event that Bill White becomes governor, would Olson say it is Bill White's responsibility to educate Texas' kids? Honestly, I'd hope you'd be able to see how stupid Pete Olson's comment was.

Gov. Rick Perry has deemed the provision unconstitutional because state officials can’t guarantee future spending. And last week, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst threatened to sue on the grounds that the restrictions only apply to Texas.

We can’t guarantee future spending because we can’t know what future revenues will be, as our Constitution requires a balanced budget. And yes, we are being singled out.

FUBO, get ready for lawyers, guns and money.
