Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill White said he never considered changing his campaign schedule Monday to catch up with President Barack Obama, who is attending private fundraisers in Austin and Dallas.
Instead, White will start the day by talking to Texans in Midland and end it by participating in the Pioneers and Old Settlers Reunion parade in Alvarado.
This has been scheduled quite a while, White said Friday after talking to the Rotary Club of Fort Worth. In general, we tend to make a schedule and keep a schedule. We have a pretty disciplined campaign. But theres no disrespect intended toward the president.
Republican Gov. Rick Perry, on the other hand, plans to greet Obama at Austin-Bergstrom Airport when the president arrives in Austin on Monday, Perry spokeswoman Katherine Cesinger said Friday.

It’s an incredible coincidence all these politicians have long ago planned busy schedules that can’t be changed.
First thing Perry did when Barry descended the stairs from the plane, was to hand him a letter outlining the dangers of not securing the border and asking BO to pledge to enforce immigration law. The local paper’s website had a bunch of picture of the exchange. The look on Barry’s face made it seem like Perry was handing him an envelope laced with anthrax.
I can imagine who the “important personages visiting Texas” are whom Bill White simply can’t stand up so he could meet with our immensely popular President: Baroness Hufstedler of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Chinese acrobatic team that spins the plates on The Ed Sullivan Show, Kermit the Frog, Fergie, and the runner who finished 2,007th in the Austin Marathon.
People now sick with this president will be known to have the Obama-syndrome. A disease that manifests itself by a person's sudden disappearance whenever Obama or an Obama-maniac are coming to town.
If only Biden could have joined Obama!
Please pray for the cleansing of my state from the filth of this Marxist Usurper. I hope he was greeted appropriately.

SORRY ‘BOUT THAT!!
