There they go again! A liberal activist judiciary chooses to make law from the bench rather than enforce existing law. The fact that SB 1070 PERFECTLY mirrors existing federal immigration law doesn't matter if it doesn't conform to a judge's personal political agenda of what the law OUGHT to say rather than what it actually does. Meanwhile, Arizona citizens struggle with bankrupt public school districts, insolvent hospitals, out-of-control social welfare costs, and the human and economic ravages of the drug cartel. This horrific situation was recently illustrated when a gay judge arbitrarily defied the will of seven million Californians who voted for traditional marriage as an act between a man and a woman.

Heather McDonald does great work, and is stating the obvious here. Obama’s gang definitely has no intention of enforcing immigrations laws. But the same can also be said about every administration since Reagan.

The people will have to demand that the law be enforced, and make it clear at the ballot box by voting out as many amnesty types as possible regardless of party. - The voters have not done that yet, and 2010 and 2012 are probably the final opportunity to do it, if we can escape this congress without a general amnesty for illegals.

Was it just this administration that has publicly aided and abetted a violent invasion of the U.S.?

What about the past 9 years, or since about 1999, since this invasion completely ramped up and exploded?

A biased ruling from a biased judge.

This article by Heather McDonald has the argument down cold. Susan Bolton is a joke, but Eric Holder, Barack Obama, and the Justice department would not even have brought the suit, except that it be before Susan Bolton, who knowingly would be influenced and intimidated into a bigoted non-logical decision. "They" are not dumb (and it is up to each of us to identify who "they" are), just as slick lawyers are not dumb when choosing a jury which will be manipulated to their way. The fix was in.

There is virtually NO question of the intent, sincerity, and consistency, of Arizona 1070. There is also NO question about the bigoted agenda of the Justice Dept, Barack Obama, and the vast vast powers for which they front, including, by recent reports, companies such as HP and Bloomberg, and of course the CFR which has underwritten the entire illegal fraud in the first place.

Now we shall see how deeply corrupted America's "justice" system, and its centralized federal government is.

We're not optimistic given the profound coma into which the legal American taxpaying public has fallen.

A liberal activist judiciary chooses to make law from the bench rather than enforce existing law.

The federal oligarchy cannot continue ruling America as a feudal kingdom much longer. Ignoring the clear will of the governed and pushing through unpopular laws, court rulings, and legislative mandates is fueling the fires of rebellion.

For now, that rebellion is being expressed on the internet, at Tea Party rallies, and at the ballot box, but when the majority begin to sense that all of that is making no difference, the rebellion will be forced to evolve to the next level.

Should the oligarchs push the people to that level, they will have ignited something that they have no power to extinguish. It will result in the fall of the oligarchy, and a major reset of our federal government.

You’re absolutely right. GWB didn’t do us any favors on immigration either. Were it not for our then house and senate votes (excl. RINO’s), we’d have had amnesty.

Lest ye forget, even The Ronald signed an amnesty bill way back in 1986.

They have the blacks and at least half the women in their pocket so if they can get enough illegal Hispanic voters to add to the rest they will never again have to worry about the evil, racist white man.

The Clintons didn’t enforce the gun laws to try to pass gun control. Crime increased and they promised to put “100,000” new police officers on the street.”

Just rhetoric.

As history so clearly shows.

No one forgot except maybe you.

With all the violence, and lawless chaos in past 15 years or so, think Reagan would do it today, like Bush was trying to push down our throats recently?

Yes or no?

I agree and only hope that conservatives won’t become overconfident. The moment of truth will be next November! Turnout will be the key issue. All best,

I totally agree. I like your use of the word “oligarchy,” which means the rule of the few (elitists). Unfortunately, this is what we have. I don’t advocate any violence at this point but I’m beginning to understand what Jefferson meant when he said that new blood has to be shed periodically to preserve the benefits of the revolution.
