'Harry Potter' actress Emma Watson has been replaced as the face of Burberry by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The actress has appeared in campaigns for the British fashion house since last year, but now model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will front ads for the label's autumn and winter collections.
The decision to drop Emma, 20, has come as a surprise to many as Burberry's sales were boosted throughout Emma's stint.

Actually she’s attending Brown University now. She seems like a poised and grounded young woman from the interviews I’ve seen and she has said that she wanted to try to have a “normal” college experience. We’ll see.

The Burberry ad face is the one in the middle.
I would literally not be surprised if they wanted her to pose nude, then to overlay her body with an image of the clothing, so they could control the shadows, draping, etc. more than if she wore it and they modified it after.
Add to this that black and white modeling is bizarre in its own right. First they paint the models with either green or blue foundation, then add several layers of makeup on top of that. Lots of models refuse to do it at all.
